Split Shit
Eight hole cards you arrange into four pairs before the flop. At showdown your hand is the best high hand among four candidates: for each pair, best 5 cards from those 2 holes plus the board (Texas-style, like Splitsville but with four pairs to compare).
How it works
Highest playing hand at showdown wins the hand; ties split; side pots apply when players are all-in for different amounts.
Rules
- You are dealt 8 hole cards.
- Before the flop, you arrange them into four pairs (you choose which card pairs with which).
- For each pair separately, you could make a 5-card hand from those 2 holes plus the 5 board cards. Same rule as Splitsville for a single pair.
- At showdown your playing hand is whichever of the four candidate hands ranks highest.
- Same deck-size rule as Shit: enough cards for holes, a full board, and optional run-it-twice reserves.
Dealer's options
- Jokers — 0, 1, or 2 jokers; may be required for max players and run-it-twice reserves.
- Turn style — Standard or Double Turn.
- Betting — No Limit or Pot Limit (max additional chips this action is 3 × last bet + pot).
