Crossroads
Ante once at the start of the game, then a fixed cross board (north, south, east, west, center). Your hand is the best 5 you can make using one full line through the center with your hole cards (horizontal or vertical through the center, whichever line is stronger). If only one player goes IN, that player wins the pot and wins the game; otherwise losers feed the next pot.
How it works
If only one player goes IN, they win the pot and win the game. If two or more go IN, the best 5 on one cross line wins the pot; ties split. Losers match into the next deal.
Rules
- Ante once when the game starts (4 or 5 holes, set by dealer). Ordinary re-deals do not repeat that game ante.
- The cross has two lines: west through center to east, and north through center to south. Compare your best hand on each line and play the stronger. You can’t mix cards from both.
- Declare IN or OUT before the center flips. PIMP is a public lock-in as IN (others see that you are committed). If only one player goes IN, that player wins the pot.
- If everyone is OUT, the table re-deals the cross.
- If two or more go IN, hands are shown; best hand wins the pot. Each IN loser matches the pot size into the next deal, so the pot can grow. Texas (dealer-modal default) or Omaha hole style; jokers optional wild.
Dealer's options
- Hole cards — 4 or 5 hole cards per player.
- Hole style — Texas (any combo with board; dealer screen default) or Omaha (use exactly 2 hole cards with 3 board cards). If hole style is omitted, the server treats it as Omaha for older clients.
- Center cards — 1 or 2 cards in the center of the cross.
- Jokers — 0, 1, or 2 wild jokers can be added to the deck.
- Dice wild — Optional: after declarations, dice set a wild rank for showdown.
- Re-ante (when nobody goes in) — Optional dealer toggle: after an all-OUT round, each player may post this amount (default 0.5, at most the game ante) into the pot before the next deal.
- PIMP — During declare, a player can lock in as IN publicly before the center is revealed.
