Drop One
Each player is dealt 4 hole cards, discards exactly one before any betting, then plays like Texas Hold'em with 3 hole cards and the shared board.
How it works
Same as Texas Hold'em after the discard: best 5-card hand wins the hand; ties split; side pots apply when all-in for different amounts.
Rules
- You are dealt 4 cards face down.
- Everyone chooses one card to discard before the first betting round (no flop betting until after the discard).
- After the discard, play is Texas Hold'em: best 5-card hand from any mix of remaining holes and the 5 board cards.
- Jokers, when enabled, are wild.
- If two or more players remain all-in before the board is complete, the table is offered run-it-twice (everyone must agree).
Dealer's options
- Jokers — 0, 1, or 2 wild jokers.
- Turn style — Standard or Double Turn (6-card board).
- Betting — No Limit or Pot Limit (max additional chips this action is 3 × last bet + pot).
